After a long lull (creatively speaking, at least) and a much-needed holiday, I come with bounty from Sardinia. I've uploaded a few shots tonight, but I've a lot more still to come. I'm just so tired I can't face processing them all right now. Took 3gb worth of shots altogether so hopefully there'll be some good quality stuff on the way soon. Please, do enjoy!

I realise it's been forever since I did a journal entry. I haven't been uploading as much stuff on here as I would like. A combination of slight creative block and my job taking up too much time in my days to be able to go out and take photos is my excuse and I'm sticking by it. Combined with the fact that I've just loaded photos from my CF card from one week ago where I took some shots on a beach in Co. Louth, as well as a lovely, spectacular weather front coming my way. Unfortunately, the beach shots are too dull to make anything out of. And while I knew my lens got a bit rained upon from the weather front, I didn't realise the extent. Nothing is salvageable, unfortunately. So hopefully some more opportunities will present themselves in the near future. For now, adios.

I was all set to go to the cemetery today to get some photos but the good weather we had over the weekend decided to end for the week. Looks like it could be overcast ALL week, too, apart from Friday. Oh well.

On Wednesday I'll be (hopefully) putting all my reading into practice in the studio with Harry Weir. That'll be a lot of fun.

But for once, my creative block seems to be lifting. I might meander 'round to the graveyard anyway. Work out some good angles for when the weather IS good, if nothing else.

I can't find my camera battery charger. My house is a mystery.

So I've just come home from a weekend away in Carcassonne. Stayed in my aunt's place. Didn't get as many photos as I would have liked but they seem to be of a higher quality than I had anticipated. Which is nice. So I've done a big update and I'm looking forward to hearing what people think.

Same deal from DIT this time, which will no doubt make some people quite pleased. So it's official: I'm leaving Ireland at the closest possible opportunity.
